Robert turned one year old on July 14, 2005.
He is learning to walk, although for now he only walks
while holding on to cushions or mommy or daddy's hands.
He has recently learned where is his ear and his belly
button. He also can say "ruff" when he sees a dog (or any other animal,
and "light" (pronounced "ylit") when he sees any light, whether it is on
or off. He has recently added "yuck to his vocabulary, and he sounds
just like one of the seagulls when he screams, "aah, aah!" at them.
His favorite colors are red and yellow. He will point to
anything that is red, and if it is a button, he will push it!
Favorite book: Good Night Moon, or anything
with a picture of a dog.
His sailing experience includes standing on the steering
wheel and pushing red buttons that control the auto-pilot (a big no-no,
and he knows it!)
Amy

Amy's previous sailing experience includes teaching a
sailing class at camp, where she never really mastered how to sail
back to the dock, and completion of a Basic Keelboat 101 class in
Clear Lake, TX.
Her main duties on board include taking care of Robert,
preparing and cleaning up after meals, and shooting pictures. She is
getting more and more experience taking the helm, and even docked
once while in Glacier Bay.
Amy's not sure she has totally embraced the sailing
lifestyle, but sunny days are great!
