Starting line for Kansas City Saint Patrick's Day (March 10th, 2007) Race

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                

Amy deep in the pack as she crosses the starting line.  She stops half way through the race to say hello to Robert and have a short run with him.

Turns out there were more in the race than originally thought.  When the whistle blew, Robert forgot to run and started cheering for the other runners.

Once off the starting blocks, he flew to the finish line, arms swinging the entire way.

Afterwards, he had a few  moments to pose with fans.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the race, there were several victory laps and then off to the neighborhood St. Patrick's Day Parade in Brookside, Kansas.

Shown below is proof that spring is here.  A new fox has moved into the backyard.  The squirrel was sorry to hear the news.
