Pool Family

Back Up Next

Bottom line, was able to trace back to James Pool born on April 5th, 1746 in Brunswick Co., VA.  He sold some land to James Pyles and later married his daughter for his first marriage.  Also appears he played a role in the revolutionary war.  Others along the way played a part in Civil War.

    Mark:
Aunt Mary Ella got this info from Aunt Nell. Their parents were Alma Larson and Walter Pool. See what you can find. They both died in Fort Worth about 1945 and 1946.

Mr. & Mrs. John Rudolph Larson left Sweden for Boston, Denton, Cleburne, Tx  march 25, l872 in Boston.  They had two children ...Rudolph Larson (never married...Uncle Dolphy) and Alma Antoinette Larson...Full blood Swede).  Mrs. Larson died in Dallas, Aug. 28, l877.  Her Husband died June 21, l879 in Dallas.  At his death, children were adopted by a Scottish couple in Denton.  "Auntie" and "Uncle" were Robert C. Craig and Elspeth Laidlaw Craig.  Alma A. Larson was not well and only expected to live about a year when she married Walter Crawford Pool  She died at age of 72.   ...probably tired after raising 7 kids!      You can see there are alot of holes in this info...
